Terrace to 7-Bed HMO Conversion

This project involved the complete conversion of a traditional 4-bedroom terraced house on Liverpool Road, Eccles into a 7-bedroom licensed HMO (House in Multiple Occupation). Every bedroom was designed with its own ensuite bathroom to maximise rental value and tenant comfort.

To gain compliant bedroom sizes and meet building regulations, a dormer extension was added at roof level. This allowed the kitchen to be relocated upstairs, freeing up the ground floor for additional bedrooms while creating a modern shared living space under the new roofline.

The property was fully rewired and replumbed, with fire-safety upgrades throughout including fire doors, interlinked alarms and emergency lighting to satisfy HMO licensing requirements. The result is a high-specification shared home finished to a modern standard throughout.
